Chicago, APA, AP, MLA, and Modern Manuscript Formats

I have edited in a variety of formats, most recently in AP style working in a newsroom. As part of my degree, I am very familiar with Chicago and MLA formats, but I can adapt to a large variety.

With over five years of professional editing experience, and a number of years in more informal settings for editing peer-reviewed content, I have continued to grow my professional branding and will only continue to stretch my wings.

Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Microsoft Teams

I have a professional level of knowledge in all of Microsoft and Google’s suite of products, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and working within Microsoft Teams to implement an organizational system.

Using both Microsoft Word’s track changes and Google Doc’s track changes, I have worked with and helped writers utilize comments, insert changes and make their copy the best it can be. For over five years I have used the full breadth of comments and track changes on both programs in order to edit documents and help writers achieve the best vision for their work.

SEM Rush, Google Analytics, WildMoka, Screaming Frog, and many other programs

There’s a good chance that I have used, utilized, or otherwise worked with a program in order to work on SEO optimization.

WordPress

A lot of the editing I have done has used WordPress websites, including my time at the Black News Channel. I am familiar with how to make sure content is properly tagged, sorted, and making sure the meta data is all working in fine and correct order.
